October is one of my favorite months of the year...fall is settling in with crisp mornings and sunny afternoons...birthdays are happening and the holidays are starting to sneak up on us.
This year...October was "turnt up" even more with this little lady turning ONE and all the emotions that happen with that. I already shared a little about her ONE-derful 1st year and you can see that here.
Talk about happy little lady...Miss LJ's personality is in full swing. She loves to get a smile from people and put on a little show. 1st thing in the morning at Grammy she points and wants to listen to Justin Timberlake (good taste LJ).
This is how we do it...it's a bit of a zoo, but you know the drill, it's our zoo!
Griffin's 12 week check in after completing his 1st round of vision therapy. He is doing great and making such amazing progress.
Here I am...it's not always that you see the mom behind the keyboard, the photographer, the carpool driver, the up all night nurser, BUT I'm still in there...surviving on shakes and snuggles!
Wednesday afternoon the O'Malleys get out of school early so we did snack time with Auntie Stacie :)
Check up time for Chukar...he turned 10 in October and is struggling a little bit as he gets older. He has severe arthritis in his hips (and it seems painful). We started some shots to help "lube" him up and it seems to be helping.
Road trip time...and of course, our kids are sleeping.
Grammy and Papa kept Chukar for us
We arrived in the Tri-Cities to visit Rich's family and his sister was in town.
A trip over to see Aaron and his girls...this looks like a TOUGH crowd.
And this is what they call BLUEBIRD SKIES!
Picking pumpkins at Kennewick Grandmas.
Mr. Flag holder during chapel (Thanks Miss Brown for snapping the picture).
And sometimes mom passes out during a snuggle session.
It's Wednesday...and we are fully walking so no more baby gym, it's off to BIG girl gym.
The FUN Run! These kids (and parents) raised over $1,200 for HCA and had a blast too!
Millie spent her laps with Miss Brown (and YES, she's teachers pet).
Griffin took off and never looked back.
He maxed out with 36 laps and was the 4th kid to do it in the K-2 group.
Nice work 1st grade boys!
So thankful LJ and I got to watch the madness.
Aunt Becky and Uncle Jason came to our house too....
Playing hooky on the lake with LJ
We had a blast while they were here...but of course, forgot pictures until the last morning at McMenamins.
Rich's mom came over to visit too.
The routines of fall were settling in and Sunday church is becoming more of a thing for us. It seems silly, but finding a church that feels like home has been such a struggle...but now it seems like we have a place and it's great that the kids love going too.
Football!
This little ladies are troopers for the 2 hour football each Sunday and I sure love seeing our big boy SMILE because he's learning and having some fun.
Matching PJS from Aunt Becky!
Guess who's ALMOST ONE and is having a PINK party!
...but first, we met Chantel for a quick photo session with the ONE year old. This are my iPhone pictures...click here for Chantel's amazing photos from the day.
For someone who SEES my mom almost every day and definitely talks to here EVERY day...it's fun to get out with out the kiddos.
Surprise...no school and we took the BIG kids to Great Wolf Lodge.
LJ, thankfully, stayed home with Grammy and Papa and definitely enjoyed her time more
Chukar too!!
From games to wands to slides to the wave pool...these 2 had a blast!
Mom and Dad had a BLAST too!
LOOK WHO'S ONE!
Time to party....we were going low key taco party with family and it turned out we had a lot of people who are family. So thankful for our tribe!
The cousins!
Meyer Family!
Auntie Jenn...pretty sure LJ would go live with Aunt Jenn any day (and maybe when the teenage years come). hahah!
The One Tribe (Over One, One and Almost One)
The moms with the "ones"

Hanging out with GG.
Did someone say it's CAKE time?
Friends...besties and besties!
And that's a wrap!
Gabe and Millie...5 going on 15!
Ready for bed..but not before a ride with Auntie Roxy.
A very special surprise for GG who was celebrating 93 a few days after LJ!
Husky Football Saturday (for the girls)...the boys call it Cougar Football Saturday.
And then it was already Sunday and back to football with Griffin. This week it POURED down rain!
Fall attire and a cute smile!
When Mom has a board meeting...Dad heads to pizza with the kids.
LJ even ran into Easton there!
FIELDTRIP fun with the 1st graders at Remlinger Farms.
We had a BLAST....and then it POURED!
Back at school and DRY!
Friday FUN night at the Bowling alley with the Bells!
Annual trip to CRAVEN Farms...to pick pumpkins, have snacks and FUN!!!
Grammy and Papa met us for a day of fun...the rain stayed away but there was a ton of MUD!!!
LOVE the fall colors and SMILES by all!
Doughnuts!
This PICTURE...every year!!
Duck races are always a HIT...but the big kids are getting more competitive so it's not always FUN when there is a real winner and loser.
A packed day...next up, Birthday tea party for Millie, Jillian and Katie. LJ came too!
Followed by TRUNK or TREAT at school....I'm exhausted just thinking about that Saturday!
That's a WRAP...I feel you Leighton!
What's Halloween without carving PUMPKINS...it's took us 2 nights to complete, but we checked that box and had some fun doing it.
Leighton is a lucky girl...visits with GG and Auntie Roxy now that they are practically neighbors happens a few times a week!
His 1st Halloween....
Doughnuts with the BIRTHDAY boy....
Look who's SEVEN!
Special card at school...it's so sweet, each kid makes a special card for him.
This one is from his teacher, Mrs. Shilley.

Off to trick or treat!
We made it!
