There is the moment in time where you are between waves and you have a sense of calm, pure contentment and life seems to be manageable (contentment, I dare say)...it seems to correlate when I am able to get my exercise, sleep enough, drink my water, eat at home and study my bible....
It doesn't seem to happen when you welcome a NEWBORN to your tribe...but here we are, AGAIN!

July was filled with so many wonderful days of sunshine and learning our new normal. G&M spent a week at Lake Retreat with Canyon Hills and LJ spent a week at Grammy camp in Bothell (if you know, you know). We enjoyed a wonderful 4th with friends, celebrated our 14th wedding anniversary, had a few trips to the lake, shared the cabin with friends and family, GOT A PUPPY and rounded out the month with my 44th birthday. July is the month of SUMMER that I just love...it's when I don't know up from down and it seems like the glorious days of summer will never end!!! So here is my attempt to organize the month....in moments captured.
And that middle of the MONTH celebration with Rich to cheers 14 years of MARRIAGE...it's not always rainbows and sunshine, but I'm grateful to have him help me see the snipets of light each day. Love doing life with you and so thankful for you as my partner, my true love!
July 1st started the month off with a "meet the BOYS"....there were 2 boys in the litter and both were sweet as can be.

There just isn't a place where my heart is fuller than the lake with the family...praying for many more adventures for many many years to come!
So special to introduce my mom, dad and auntie to the the lake...Papa had come to work, but fun to see everyone have time to relax!

Awake...asleep! So grateful for travelers who travel sooooo well.
Very grateful for my husband's green thumb that we get to enjoy all summer long (well, when we are home, that is).

That's a wrap JULY...it took me almost all of August to document all the fun we had in July! I just love summer and the time we have with each other...the memories made and the fighting...ok, not the fighting, but remember, it's not all rainbows and sunshine, BUT it is what you make out of it...and we are going to do our best to leave everything on the field and soak up all that this life has to offer!
