Here we go 2020....we welcomed in the NEW YEAR and celebrated Easton's 1st birthday with late bed times, a little Champs and great friends. What an amazing way to put smiles on our faces that will keep us going through the year!
Still soaking in the together time from Christmas break and having a little tent time with the kiddos. This became the LEGO building spot and hours of fun! It has since moved from there bedroom to play room so all kids (LJ too) can enjoy the fun.
What is Christmas break without a little NINJA camp?!?!
A random Friday that everyone wanted to have a little dessert...so we packed up and headed to our favorite fire place in Bothell (until we put in our own in February) and soaked in a little family treat time.
To the MOUNTAINS we go....
A little day trip to the mountains to burn the stink off and soak in the final hours of Christmas break...and of course, play a little in the snow (little did we know what was in store for us later in the month)!
Grammy and Papa with all the Grands....SNOW TIME in Leavenworth!
There is something special about bundling up and acting like a kid again. All the smiles and adventures make this mama SOOOOO happy!
Snow Angels and Sledding...
Time with the cousins!
Racing down the hill with my mom!
And DOING it all again...over and over...and enjoying every single second of the time together. THIS is what life is all about!
If I could bottle up this emotion...it's PURE positivity! Love, Awe, Zest!
Mama and her girls!
All smiles with my main man and partner in crime!
The troops were ravenous and ready to warm up.
Pony up to the bar for BRATS and more!
And then life went back to "normal". Back to school, back to work and back to the routine. It truly makes me realize how important it is to savor all the time that is unique but also find the moments of routine can still bring the smiles and love. I'm done waiting for "vacation" to be the best time and will focus on EVERY day being amazing in 2020.
So, when on a Friday night, the girls texted to meet up ...I didn't think twice. Heck, I didn't even look in the mirror. Time with friends is something so special that I will make a priority to continue to enjoy these times where it might not be convenient...but it sure is fun!
Yep, it was Seahawks Playoff day...so we busted out our team colors!
And then it was Grammy's birthday...dropped by with some special treats and love when the SNOW was just beginning!
More SNOW...but this time at HOME!
And SCHOOL was cancelled....so we took advantage of the time together!
Home to warm up, dry off and nap.
Until the next adventure....
LJ's favorite spot was being pulled with a bottle in her mouth. Living the life!
Fresh out of the bath or sweat hog....not quite sure, but she sure is cute!
Another snow day...CHECK!
A quick adventure to the park to play with the cousins and Grammy!
And then the snow got old...still no school, but time for some fun inside too! Look at Millie's beautiful butterfly.
When you meet someone littler than you!
This guy was keeping guard of LJ.
New year...new time to try things. We've been attending BUMC for about 6 months and it really feels like home. The kids love being part of the program and we enjoy them learning and sharing these experiences.
Guess who's 15 months old! She was so inquisitive of outside...and even took her shots like a champ. NOT ONE tear!
And the little flower girl has arrived. Getting so excited to be part of Ty and Brit's wedding in March!
Some snuggles with mama before she headed out of town for a few days!!!
Yep...this was when mama was off dreaming BIG and building big things of our future!
And I'm back...back to the crazy and back to the smiles. All the love!
So, this guy. He's my MAIN time guy so mama is trying to find new ways to share how important he is to me by sharing special time. Morning walks have been a great way and I look forward to building more consistency with this during 2020!
This girl is growing up so much and truly finding herself at school. She is the sweetest and has such a zest for life!
This goofball has 100% come into her own...she is a little demanding but lots of love. Her personality is growing each day!!
And then we lost our 1st TOOTH...such a big girl!
After multiple reschedules from sickness to snow...it was fun to get together with the ladies for brunch and laughs! Where has the past 21 years gone...the lifey bunch!
And when your side hustle becomes real...it's so weird to say that I share something for a living, but it has truly changed so much in my life! I'm a better mama and wife and I help others become better too. It's so fun to dream bigger and know that your life is meant to have an impact on so many!
January...you were full of the unexpected and the expected, the crazy and the routine, but you showed me that I can appreciate life each day and find moments of AWE, HOPE, LOVE, GRATITUDE and more in each second! Cheers to spreading positivity and light around and helping others find their strength!
