October - the days before the expansion!

The days leading up to baby were a BLUR....from doctor appointments and NSTs, to moving out of the apartment and into my parents, painting the house, board meeting AND .... so much more.  Looking back now, I know we were crazy to pack life up to the day Leighton was born, but that's life and it's what had to get done.

This guy loves his dog...and gives him loves every morning.

Ready for school and asking for support for their fun run.

Griffin has a special Lego club on Wednesday after school, so Miss Millie and I had a little special Millie and Mommy time.  The transition before baby arrived was a little rough with each kid requesting extra mommy time.

What is the best thing to do 37 weeks pregnant....MOVE, of course! I don't wish that on ANYONE...it was the worst, but we made it through and looking back I don't remember how awful it really was.

Oh....ONE MORE THING...Chukar had a trip to the vet because he wouldn't put any weight on his hind leg.  We found out he has arthritis and hip dysplasia...poor guy is doing better now, but it will be something we have to watch and possibly trip as time progresses.

FUN RUN TIME....and this guy raised so much money for Heritage that he kept getting prizes day after day!

Millie ended up being sick the day of the run, but Griffin ran his little heart out (with his headband, of course).

Mrs. Brown's Kindergartner Runners....post FUN RUN and a little exhausted.

Spoiled...yes, we have been so spoiled by gifts for baby and the kids love helping us open things up.

And just like that...I made it until the END of this pregnancy still spinning 3 days per week.  Yes, just 2 days before Miss L was born I got up on that bike.

When Mom can't handle anymore, it's been a blessing to have Grammy around to help take the BIGS off my hands.  I finished up some packing and Grammy took the kids to the park on a beautiful fall afternoon.

The final doctor's appt and NST test.

And just like that...it was the last dinner as a family of 4.....DUMPLINGS for all!

And, of course, we said yes to ICE CREAM!

One final story before bed...and it was time to welcome our newest addition to the family!
