Remodel Update: August

These pictures seem like so long ago....now that I'm finally getting around to updating the blog on our August progress!!!

Picking back up, this was when the foundations were being poured and the start of outside work was beginning.

The start of framing the addition.

It was fun to see the shape take form and see the walls to the office and master come alive.

Yes, the toilet was still operating in the middle of the construction zone.

All the walls coming down and the new roof line being built.

Love the progress shot of see this opening up of our 2nd story.

The kids walking out on the new "nursery/addition".

Looking back on the "old" structure and into the Jack and Jill bathroom....or should we say Griffin & Millie bathroom.

The HUGE beam that needed to be put up before the roof could be started.

Griffin and Papa got to watch the crane truck lift the beam and set in place.

This little man has a heart for construction!

By the end of August, the addition was really starting to take shape outside....

....and inside too!

All the existing drywall and insulation coming out to make room for new!

That's a wrap AUGUST....almost all the demo done and the house really started to take shape!
