Vacation time!!!
Bring on the sunshine and sunglasses!
It was the end of May and we were packed up and heading SOUTH...Clovis or Bust! Time to visit family, celebrate Gabie's graduation, play with the kids and enjoy a little break from work.
Truck was loaded. Bellies were full. Attitudes were high. It was GO time.
The troops filled the backseat up and knew they were ready for a little adventure.
Along the trip, I decided that I would keep track of any "gems" that came out of the traveler's mouth. Insert 1st gem....approximately 14 minutes into our drive.
8:19am: Griffin "My back hurts, I need to go to the Doctor"
The trip down was pretty non-eventful. Griffin, Millie and Chukar were troops in the back!
Yep...this is what we saw when we would look back. Smiles from M and goofy faces from G.

We made it to Redding, CA Friday night and it was time to get a little rest before the final leg on Saturday morning.

On our final leg of our journey down, we had a crop duster fly right over us. So cool!
When in Rome...

We arrived early afternoon to the Hardy house and G made himself right at home. Big boy water glass and all!
Millie was all up to explore and Cousin Ty showed her around.
Yep, it didn't take long for the troops to feel right at home.
