May Flew By!

Easy come, easy go....that was May.
We were busy, busy, busy and boy did it make the month of May just FLY by.

From Hikes to Play Dates, Visits from Meyer East, Afternoons with Grammy & Grandpa, Meeting G's new cousin and Grandpa Mike's Retirement....this month was filled with lots of fun and family!

We started off the month of May with a family outing with Griffin's toddler group!  We saw pigs, chickens, bunnies, horses, goats and more!  G was intrigued by all the farm animals.

The park even had some "hiking" trails that were easy enough for this mama and little man to tackle!

Family Selfie on the trail!

My boys!
G had walked enough and was ready to enjoy the view from up top!

The old hat switch-a-roo!

Wednesdays consisted of play dates at the Bell's house...Griffin and Olivia had lots of fun while Olivia's new baby brother mainly slept and took in the craziness of 2 toddlers.

G and O giving kisses to Baby Andrew!

Time to start up the ROCK BAND...these two could not get enough of the drums!

All tuckered out from too much fun...first went G, then went O.

Baby Andrew (just over 1 week old).

Grammy and Grandpa headed out of town to Cabo to celebrate Grandpa Mike's retirement....so we had some babysitting switches during their vacation.

Jillian and Griffin prepping for a nap at Auntie Jenn and Uncle Danny's house.

Lunch and fun at Auntie's house!

Just chilling...this little man LOVES his chair.  He will move it around to where he wants to be.  He's a little OCD at times, but then, so are his parents. :)

Another Wednesday, another play date at the Bell's house.  This time Owen was able to join in on the fun too!  These 3 are seriously so lucky to have each other and have so much fun together (needless to say, so do their mamas....can't believe round 2 will be just as blessed)!

Grammy and Grandpa were back from Cabo and this little Cowboy got a new hat....such a little ham!

Sunny days meant time to play outside (and he loves outside)!

Another day and another visit from a friend...this is Miss Hadley and is just 2 weeks younger than G. I think she was trying to put the moves on G.

Who doesn't love a good bath time montage....Grandma and Grandpa Meyer were over and G was showing all his tricks!

Mother's Day brought more celebrating and more fun.  Jilly and G loved playing on the slide together and even figured out how to share the time at the top!

Grammy with her grandbabies....

and with her daughters!

Then the group shot...3 generations of fun!

After the morning celebration was done, G decided he needed to clean up the rug.  He loves to clean and as I've said before LOVES to vacuum.

Mother's Day afternoon we got to celebrate with Grandma Denise...G is showing her the *ishy (his way of say fish) on Lake Bellevue.

He showed Grandpa Dick too...

Dinner was great and G loved being with Grandma and Grandpa Meyer and right on the lake!

Back to work on Monday and helping Grandpa Mike pay some bills!

Wednesday already...and time for more fun with friends.  First toddler group, then over to a play date with Olivia and Owen!

Snack time!

Time to play...while the mama's relax and chat!

All tuckered out from so much fun with friends!  Wednesdays in May were a blast!

We got home in time to help daddy mow-mow!  G's newest obsession!

If you look real close...you can see G sitting on the front steps, totally spent from mowing the front yard!

Did I say he loves to vacuum...this time he is helping Grandpa Mike and doing such a great job!

Bath time!  A great friend made this towel for G when we first found out we were pregnant.  I think it's one of his favorite parts of bathtime!  Thanks Kaylin!

Sunshine and weekends meant FUN, FUN, FUN!  Rich and G headed out to Log Boom Park to fish a little

G loves fish and loves ducks...below he is almost able to reach out and touch the duck.  He says *ack, *ack (Quack, Quack)...something about it makes me giggle!

Learning how to handle the rod and reel from his daddy! No bites on that Sunday, but I'm sure they have plenty of fishing days ahead of them.

Errand time with Grammy and Grandpa B!  It's project time at the Boness house and these two are frequent customers of Lowe's!

Testing out the bench...yes Grammy, let's get this one!

With Grandpa Mike home now, these two get more adventures than ever before!  One this day, they checked out a new park and had tons of fun!

The week was over and it was time to enjoy a long 3-day weekend.  It started with a fun dinner with the Bell's at a Japanese Steakhouse...these two could not get enough.  A huge win to find a restaurant that keeps the kiddos entertained while the parents can chat and enjoy their dinners too!

Long weekend means lots of outside time...just testing out the wagon!

No pants party in our backyard!

Sunday of Memorial Day we headed over to the winery and enjoyed our 2nd annual trip to the Chateau Ste. Michelle "Stay-Cation"!  Wine + Food Trucks + Car Show = FUN TIMES!

The boys all ready for some fun!

Family Selfie!

Rich and G posing for me by the ponds!

G entertaining a stranger and watching the *ack, *acks!

Friends arrived!  G and Liv played a little one-on-on football (more like keep away)!

G showing Liv the *ack, *acks and the *ishy, *ishy!

Time for a wagon ride!

Liv helping G with his drink!  Such a great little helper!

And then G sharing with Liv!

Time to check out the cars!  SO COOL!

All done at the winery and ready to head home!  Fun day with friends and the weather even almost cooperated!

We ended the night at the Rush's house for dinner...the kids table!

Monday, it was time for a trip to the Seattle Aquarium!

The boys may kill me for time one, but I just loved it.  Captures our nightly routine perfectly...after dinner relaxation and book time.  G loves to cuddle with daddy!

Another day that G was a GOOFBALL...I swear this kid is going to be an entertainer when he grows up!

Officially off BOTTLES...huge win and on to cups exclusively!  So HAPPY!

Wednesday, May 28th, Jenn and Danny headed to the hospital early and a new cousin was on her way!  Jilly came over to play with G before we went to meet the baby!

Miss Katelyn Elizabeth arrived and she is perfect!

Jilly telling G it's time to get up from nap time and head to meet her new sister (his cousin)!

Of course, we had to make a stop for lunch at the hospital cafe.  These 2 are getting so big!

Half a sandwich...yes, please!

And a banana, sure!

Baby Kate!

We ended the month of May with Grandpa Mike's retirement celebration from Boeing!  37 years!  So lucky to be part of this celebration!

I warned you it was a busy month...and I'm guessing that it is only going to get busier as the next one arrives.  We are having a blast and can't wait to see what JUNE holds for the Meyer Family!
