April flew by...with lots of fun activities at school and a much needed week away! Easter celebrations rounded out the kick off to spring and the countdown to summer!
Millie qualified for the spelling bee for the 2nd year. She did great and I'm so proud of her continuing to do things "outside of her comfort level".

Celebrations for Easter in Leighton's Class!!! So fun to be able to be back inside the walls of school and participate in all the fun activities.

Easter Chapel is one of my favorites...almost tied with Christmas, Last Day of School and 1st Day Convocation. Each one is SOOO special, but Easter sure is such an amazing day!
These 2 ladies got to go to Mom's nail salon for a special Easter and Spring Break treat!

Back from a fun-filled spring break and ready for some HCA fun at Chick-Fil-A!
Spring has been fun of special days...and here was another.
Grandparent's Day at Heritage - this year, it was boys with boys and girls with girls!
Hair day for the littlest!!!! She's so spoiled!
Pretty sure this was "report card day" or just another "day" that these 2 kids got spoiled with some treats!
Rocket Launch Day for Griffin with his Trail Life Troop....he got 2nd place! Distance and Hang time.
While G was away, we did a fun craft!
Hey, hey, hey...let's raise a paddle for Heritage! Auction night is always a favorite date night for Rich and I. Plus, we were able to secure front row for the Christmas concert. Win Win!
While mom & dad are away....these 3 are perfect angels (run wild) at Grammy and Papa's! :)
Rich took a handful of working trips to the lake to help prep us for night one in May....so there are smiling kid pictures of meals and fun while dad was working away!
We ended the month with the Math Olympics.....and started with a lunch trip to Chick-Fil-A!
Before the competition, these 2 were all SMILES and ready to get their math on!
The math was done and it was time to see what happened....Millie tied for 1st place for 3rd grade and Griffin earned 3rd place for 4th grade!
I was in shock and then not surprised at all...so proud of my little math-letes!!!

Saturday brought Leighton's first movie...Super Mario Bros with all the kids!
And the sun is shinning soooooo much more and if you are on the fence for a trampoline...do it!

April went by in a blink...and these kids are growing faster than our grass this spring. Continuing to cherish this season with kids, that is crazy and chaotic, but filled with love and learning!
