'tis the Season!

Let the season begin...and begin it has!  From trees to decorations, to train rides, cold weather and fun...the month of December came in with a bang and a little ho-ho-holiday spirit.

The Meyer Tree search 2014 took us to Yakima market...and it did not disappoint.  We missed our trip to the woods, but with variable #1 (Griffin) and variable #2 (Millicent), we decided that 2014 was a year to stick a little closer to home for the search.  Don't worry, 2015 we will be back in the woods in search for the Griswold, I mean Meyer, Family Christmas tree.

My little family ready to find a tree!

The boys were on the hunt and found the perfect tree!

Our holiday festivities took a little break when it was time to watch Apple Cup...but then again, Football works with the holiday (plus a little competitive spirit between husband and wife).  The boys were rooting on the Cougars and the girls were rooting for the Huskies!!!

A house divided!
This might be the last smile Rich had that night...Go Huskies!

As you can see...Chukar and Millie didn't really care too much for the game, but definitely enjoyed their cuddles together.

Sunday morning it was time to put the Apple Cup behind us...have some waffles and start decorating.  Griffin is obsessed with "Helping Mommy" and "Helping Daddy" so he got to stir up the waffles.

Ready for SANTA...

Getting ready to decorate and enjoying our first fire of the season...Griffin telling daddy "HOT"!

The tree is up and my little helper put the angel on the top.

Griffin loves the Christmas tree and is starting to figure out the holiday spirit.

The mantle starting to come together.f

Just hanging out and reading by the tree!

Not only did we get our tree up, but so did Grandma Joni and Grandpa Mike...so the kids were excited to check out there stuff.  They even have a train!

Grandpa Mike with the Meyer kiddos.

Griffin checking out all the singing Snowmen.

Kisses for Grandpa Mike.

Mommy loving on Millie before leaving for work.

G figuring out how the train works with Grandpa.

As you can tell, G is obsessed with the train and has to be where it is.

Blue Friday with this silly goose!

Rich and Chukar got to take a load off on Friday and have a little BOY time in the woods.

The mantle getting closer to complete...

Saturday morning was one of our first Christmas activities with friends of the 2014 season...
SANTA TRAIN!

The kiddos were dressed and ready for FUN!

Here we are...ready for a train ride, Santa visit and time with friends and family!

The Bells and Valentes joined in the fun too!

Griffin was so excited to ride the CHOO-CHOO!

Enjoying the trip!

We arrived and got to check out some old trains!

The Meyer Family posing.
