Day 3 - June 28, 2014

Day 3 brought our final morning at Overlake and a big weight loss from Millie...she had gone from 8 lbs, 2 oz to 7 lbs, 3 oz.  Her bilirubin levels were on the rise and she was now at a high-intermediate level for jaundice.  An all too familiar problem as we had the same thing with G.  We knew that round the clock feedings and weight gain were the best for her, so we made this a focus and moved to feedings every 2 hours!

Early morning snuggles with daddy!

Miss Millie just cuddled in (while Mommy and Daddy) cuddled together and enjoyed a little family time in the cozy hospital bed...the only thing more perfect would have been if G and Chukar were there too!

So little..but so strong and determined already.  She loves to be on her belly and tries so hard to lift her head up.

Exhausted from all that lifting and ready to relax.

Little man was back at our house while Grammy and Grandpa B helped clean our carpets...we are SO spoiled!

Before being discharged on Saturday morning, the Valente Family came for a visit!  Owen is going to be a big brother this summer too...so he wanted to see what all this baby stuff was all about.

All dressed up with somewhere to go...HOME!

Safe and secure...and sawing logs!  This little lady does not get phased by much.

And we were home...

A fun little comparison from G and M's first day home....

Somebody else was VERY happy we were home too...and we were extremely happy to have him back!

Some more pics of Miss M!

Big brother coming in for a kiss!

A little unsure of his little sister...but I think he's happy she is here!

All snuggles and hugs!

G and Grandpa Mike hanging out while the rest of us visited and got used to being home.

And a few more from the "JUST BORN" photo edition!

Our little helper putting on Miss M's socks! Already in love with his sissy!

A few snuggles with Grammy before calling it a night.

Hotel Overlake was a great place to visit...but it was nice to be home to Casa Meyer with the family.
