AND....WE'RE....OFF....AGAIN!
Summer has come and summer has gone...but not without one final trip East with the Meyer 4! It was supposed to be more, but turned out perfect with just our little family!
On our way to Walla Walla for a relaxing weekend away...we stopped to visit Grandma & Grandpa Meyer and Griffin's Uncle Shawn and Uncle Chris!
Thursday night was dinner at Casa Mia...a Meyer favorite!

We enjoyed a nice dinner out and then headed to meet some friends for a night cap at the hotel...as you can see, the boys didn't last too long!
Friday morning, it was RISE and SHINE and enjoy a little more time with Grandma and Grandpa Meyer...
Griffin LOVED the biscuits from the hotel (and that mama let him eat in bed).
HILARIOUS!!! I will never allow him to eat in bed again...we had to use Chukar to clean up the crumbs!
We met up to have a little breakfast and Grandpa Dick brought along a nectarine for G.
HE DEVOURED IT...
After breakfast, it was time for G to get to play in Grandpa's garden and pick a few nectarine himself.
It was only fitting for our little PUMPKIN (hahah, Halloween Baby) to get to check out some pumpkins.
Three generations!
Back to the HOTEL...and time to swim!

It was a fun overnight to visit the Meyer Family...but it was time to continue on to Walla Walla!
First Stop of the weekend: Salumiere Cesario for some MEAT and CHEESE!
Next up: Mark Ryan Winery (one of our favorites from the West side, too)!
Chukar enjoyed this spot (almost as much as Rich and I did)!
One word: GOOFBALL!
We headed back to the house to watch the Hawks game and let G take a power nap...before running him all over town for the night!
We ended up at Olive for dinner....DELICIOUS!

Saturday morning...time to explore Walla Walla, check out some wineries and enjoy time with the fam!
First up: Posing G in some spots and taking a walk into town for COFFEE!
First WINE stop: Charles Smith (with our master "sniffer" and Griffin too)!
Second WINE stop: Five Star Cellars (this winery has 3 Brittanies)
Griffin made a friend at Five Star...and we found a winery that we LOVE! Even joined the club!
Third WINE stop: Tamarack Cellars (best tasting room experience)
We had a little picnic at Tamarack and then headed off to the woods!

Sunday morning...it was time to say good-bye to Walla Walla, but not without one last stop at Olive and some final winery visits!
This little man was such a trooper...from wineries to restaurants, to long car rides and hot weather! He's a rockstar...so even!
First WINE stop: Waterbrook (most beautiful setting)
Second WINE stop: L'ecole (Awesome)!
That's all folks...time to head back WEST!
