The Meyer family goes MARCH-ing on...

March...you sneaky month.  It starts off slow thinking you have so much time, and then you blink and it's May!  The longer days, the increased energy, the promise of spring...you are one of my favorite months...but then again, I love them all.

Rich and I snuck away for a very brief night away...but we've learned, that even a few hours in the car and a quiet coffee morning together is enough to connect in this "beautifully busy" season of life.  While we dream of the multiple days of quiet time together, we know we will miss this season of "hey mommy, can I ask you a question" then.  So, today, we cherish any moments we get together from drop offs in the morning, an occasional walk after dinner or the rarest night away together.

Of course, the pup came along too...and we even snuck in a walk.

Back home and getting the BIG kids ready for track season...we probably need to get out there more, but that will be a goal for summer!!!

In preparation of track season...we spent a sunny Saturday morning serving at school and getting the track ready for the middle school kids!

It doesn't happen that often anymore...but Mondays when we are all in the office together are my favorites!

This season at church we have served as greeters...we think that next year we are going to tackle a Kindergarten classroom.  Wish us luck!!!

Ford's 1s trip to the DOG Park...this guy gets out on runs, but doesn't get to "run free" very often.  The kiddos don't really remember Marymoor with Chukar so it was fun to head out on a sunny March Sunday!

First track meet...

Even the littles RUN free!

The best cheerleaders.

Heading home from track with friends...and Rich and I headed to a concert too!

When the power goes out right at dinner time ....it wasn't the best choice, but they were all smiles and it saved me from a mommy meltdown.

And then pneumonia hit the family...1st Griffin, then Mom, then Leighton!

When the littlest Meyer gets to lead the Christian pledge...I used to make it to many more chapels, but grateful that I can make it to the very special ones.

Yep...training in FULL force :) Half Marathon on June 1st.

Daddy Daughter Dance Day...

All dressed up with Daddy and Papa!!

This guy is getting better and better with guitar :)

Auction = Night Out = Date Night

New sleep mask and a very happy 6 year old!

3 day weekend means Wagons East...

Too bad the snow hit and closed the pass for a couple hours...but we made it to Cle Elum before Starbucks closed and the kids got snacks at Wendy's.

And we made it....

Always work the drive when we get to spend Saturday morning HERE.

Runs and Walks and ALL THE FRESH AIR!

How can you not see GOD in this....

Beach Day means rock through, fire making, hot dog eating, s'more making and smiles had!

Pajama Day...always a favorite!

Looky, Looky...Leighton got her ears pierced.

And to celebrate...we had a BIG scoop of Ice Cream.

Each spring, the classes host "SHARE CHAPEL" and Millie's class recited many verses they have learned. So important to see what they hold in their hearts.

Griffin applied for and was accepted into the National Junior Honor Society...and also got his mug shot, I mean passport photos taken.

Millie in the Spelling Bee...not her best showing, but she had fun!

NJHS Award and Welcome Ceremony.

The bridge can only mean a LONG day run....hahah!

Welcome to the BOOK Fair...Griffin loved serving the school and had fun too!

And this guy is going to Mexico...to learn and serve and grow....what a year he has had! So many core memories happening I can barely keep up, but I am so grateful that I have a front seat view for all of it.

Grandparent's Day...
Millie's last and Leighton's first!

If you've never checked out www.waymakerfund.com...go do it now!  This is a passion project that God put on our hearts a few years ago and it is amazing to see how it continues to grow.  On March 29th, we hosted our 2nd fundraiser event and it was magical.  I often get caught in the weeds, but when I'm able to step back and see all the work God is doing, it truly brings me to my knees.

We wrapped up March with an amazing event to celebrate and share the mission behind Waymaker Fund.  Wow March...you gave us a wild ride...I'd love to do it all again, except the pneumonia maybe!

April Sunshine and Fun times!

Running...running and more running!  I think that I've become "boring" this year and I couldn't love it more.  Life has ...
