It was a NO-vember to rember!

It definitely was a NO-vember to remember and while I struggle to find the "perfect" words to put all my thoughts together, I know that whatever bumps are in the road ahead as long as this guy is with me, we will persevere!!!  When I decided late last December that my word of 2020 would be PERSEVERE...I didn't really know what that would me.

It has meant digging deeper into:

Joy
Love
Patience
Peace
Kindness
Goodness
Gentleness
Self-Control
Faithfulness

So as I look forward to 2021...it will not be one word that will guide me, but all the fruits of the spirit.

When looking at the fruits of the spirit...I see them in these amazing littles!

Griffin was awarded the November Philippian's award for Hospitality. Special words from his teacher: Your child has been faithful to greet students as they arrive, work to help people feel welcome and has shown themselves to be very friendly! Congratulations! ðŸ™‚

So many sunny trips to the park...and these kids sure will walk the extra distant to the amazing Secret Park 1 and 2.  Plus, Rich and I love the extra energy these kiddos release from getting out the wiggles!!!

Crazy Hair Day.

Looks like Friday night movies or Saturday morning cuddles!

And then you wake up and your kids have turned against you....they plotted this and I have to say they are the cutest Cougs I've ever seen!

Where do you go when you have NO plans....
to the WOODS!

We drove to the middle of nowhere....parked...built a fire and hung out!!!

Impromptu play session in the leaves when your friends car needs a jump!

Back to your regularly scheduled Sunday playday at the park!

Since we are a little limited on how we can help at school...I've found that recess mom is my jam!  You can catch me on Mondays from 930-1015am, rain or shine!

Smiles with Grammy!

The LAST dinner out of 2020 before restaurants were closed down for the pandemic part 375!

And only a few minutes after the dinner out...Leighton crashed off Griffin's top bunk and we were off to Children's! The little lady ended up with a broken elbow and we were heading to Seattle for surgery! My mom and dad headed to our house so my mom could be with the big kids and Rich could come with me.

She is so tough...with just a little Tylenol it was time for the ER.

Cuddles and facetime with Meme while we waited (Griffin was already fast asleep).

Waiting for the results of the covid tests so we can be admitted into the room.

Sweet baby was so tired!  Only one parent got to stay so after we all came back covid negative Rich headed home!

Waiting for surgery!

Post Op and this little lady was a champ...
Introducing BIG PURPLE!

We were showered with visits and gifts and this one acted like it was NOTHING.  She is amazing.

Grammy came over to help out with the patient.

And yes...Big Purple became her favorite accessory.

Special Teddy from our church family.

And then she needed a little help with this mop...without the bath being an option, it was time to get creative!

All hands on deck for Salon Meyer.

So fresh and so clean for some family tree farm pictures!
Check out the real pictures here

And that's a wrap!

Guess what...Sunday at the park and Big Purple in a swing!

Tuesdays at GGs!  The kids had a week off school so they had a little fun with the whole gang.

One week check-in!

Snuggles on Thanksgiving Break!

And then it was Thanksgiving....

My Turkeys!

And that's a wrap to the quietest Turkey day ever...waiting on Covid results and dinning alone. So much to be thankful for...but so thankful this hopefully won't happen again. It's lonely!

Time for Christmas movies!

Special Snowman pancakes by request!

Thanksgiving was done and it was time to get some decorations out!!!

And a family walk to the park....of course!

Ok, time to try this shower out with Big Purple!

Special Advent Candles for the season.

So November was a little different than in the past but just like with every other month in 2020...we took what life handed us and made the best of it!  A broken arm didn't slow us down...or a few rounds of covid tests (all negative, thank goodness)...or a cancelled Thanksgiving gathering or weekend away with friends.  This just seems to be what happens and we are not going to let those slow us down.  We hold strong to our love of our family and know that we are better together, stronger through the support and very blessed for the amazing memories we are making together!
And that's a wrap.  Smiles and Snuggles get us through the most weird times in this pandemic!  I'm hopeful it will be done soon, but until then....
