August aka the Sunday of Summer!

If that is true...then September is Monday? No way...back to school fun, football, birthdays and fall.  We love September in this household, but first we better say goodbye to August.

So this little lady is ACTIVE....from black eyes to lumps on her noggin', it's the norm when something is going from black to green to yellow on this on.

A little dirt don't hurt these two...they love to play outside and the dirty they get the BETTER!

Come on Griffin...let's go!  It's Ice Cream time and Mimi is driving!

Papa and Mimi...Mimi and Papa...these two are hooked at the hip!

Big Girl...heading into her FIRST Haircut!

Crazy hair...no way! She's just channeling her inner 1983!

She picked the red race car and was ready for the first trim.

 Ta-dah...it's beautiful Big Girl!

A week of firsts....Millie's first appointment with the Dentist, thankfully she has her pro Big Brother to show her the ropes.

See guys...this is how you do it!!

Alright...so here I go.  The shades go this way?!?

Thankfully Kristi is very patient with this little lady because she wanted to see how everything worked.

 Is this how I floss?

Finally ready for her cleaning.

Mills, Mom and Chukar's morning at the dog park!

Daddy and Griffin's morning on Lake Washington.

And then...they picked up the girls for an afternoon on Lake Sammamish.

An afternoon on the boat is not complete without a little nap from these two...I LOVE how they have to be touching.  So cute.

Pre-Family Picture trip to Starbucks...

Cake Pops, of course.

Swimming...Running...Playing.

Dunk our heads...so silly.

Run and jump! On your mark, get set, GO!!!!

Kayla and her mom opened up a new bakery in Everett...and the kids and I had to go say hello!

More sunshine means more time in the pool...this time it was also the evening bubble bath.

And then the rinse!

Big G helping Grammy at Molbaks get new plans for the secret garden.

Pretty new headband from Grammy!

Cuddles for papa...she is probably saying "I'm cold"! It's how she suckers us all in for extra cuddles (which we love).

While Papa and Millie are at home...Griffin and Grammy play!

G being Grammy's helper with his new wheelbarrow.

Ladies night with Wine and Painting.

Saturday morning fishing for the boys...a constant for August.

Friday Fun Day at Grammy and Papa's with Auntie Roxy and GG!

Pool time fun.

Lunch.

Daddy had a boys weekend...so Mommy and the kids played and played and played.
1st stop Log Boom Park

Park time fun.

Millie needed a new hat...since Griffin had a new one.  These two, hilarious!

Playing on the sandy beach....they could do this for hours...days...weeks...maybe even an entire month without stopping.

This girl and pickles!

A little shopping trip for the little Miss...her 1st interest in picking out a shirt.  She has yet to wear it, but we are making progress.

Grammy and Papa always have projects to work on and these little helpers love to assist.

A Groovy birthday party where Rich and I channeled our inner 1966!

McDonalds trip with MOM.

Our friend...our sister...our family...Lori, closed her practice after 20 years...and had a party to celebrate.

Loving on my kiddos.

No party is complete without BALLOONS!

The Meyer kids hitched a ride with Auntie Roxy.

Kisses for GG!

This monkey is all smiles (when she wants to be).

A fun-filled Sunday Funday and BBQ Reunion for the ladies of Tri-Delta PC '99 at the Capps home.  The Meyer kids really loved the farm tractor.

Griffin driving the troops around.

PC '99 Offspring

The Ladies of PC '99!

When all else fails...sit down and eat a cupcake.

Party Goers.

What happens when you run all week and weekend...you crash hard!

Better put a bow on August and say goodbye.....summer definitely flew by, but we are looking forward to a sunny September and lots of fun.
