Millicent is ONE!

Little Lady!

It doesn't seem that we have only had a year with you, it seems like you have been part of our family forever.  From the moment we laid our eyes on you, you had your daddy and my hearts! We brought you home from the hospital and introduced you to your brothers (2 and 4 legged) and instantly knew that they would forever protect you and teach you how to stand up for yourself.  There have been a few bumps and bruises along the way, but they love you as unconditionally as we do.  It is fun to see you and G become friends and most likely co-conspirators on all things.

The sparkle you have brought to our family is like none other.  

Today we celebrate you, your first year, your appetite for life, your infectious smile, 

your silly nature, your mischievous ways.

We celebrate you!

We love and look forward to being there with you every, exciting and stubborn, step of the way! 

You are our little monkey girl and we are blessed to wish you a 

VERY, VERY HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY!

Summer Countdown is On!

Home from Cali and first stop was a day on the lake...the sun was out, the kids were ready and so were we!  This is what summer is ALL about...fun, family, sun, relaxation!

1st swim off the boat...my mom and I braved Lake Washington and it was awesome.  Can't wait for more sunshine and more time in the water. 

Little Miss M is very cozy on the boat...and we are so happy that she naps wherever!

 Another day...another adventure on the lake.  This time with Heather & Adam!  Adam was in charge of Millie...

 and Heather was in charge of Griffin!

Griffin's dreams came true when Keegan let him play with his toddler-sized excavator!  I can't believe I didn't get a picture of all the kids together...but we had a great visit with the Harrison family!

 Chukar's 1st trip to the dog park (post-surgery)!  All the troops were ready to have some fun.

He didn't miss a beat and loved having a chance to RUN, RUN, RUN!

 The boys love the "woods" at the park...and we had a hard time getting Griffin to want to come out.

Last night of soccer...and the littles had some fun!  Drew was lovin on Millie!

Besties! Liv and Griffin hugging instead of playing soccer...pretty much the standard for the season.
