Loving on some Griffin in January

January has proven to be a BUSY month....with work, fun, celebrating and more!  We started off with a little rivalry basketball game between the UW and WSU...and it has just gone from there.  Griffin is loving his brother so much (and Chukar loves him more than ever).  Seriously, they are BEST FRIENDS and Rich and I couldn't be happier!

Grandma Meyer sent G a new hat and gloves and he loves them...but hated the camera when I tried to capture him in them!

Cheering for the Seahawks was a BIG task this month and although they are now out of the playoffs, Griffin is still proud of his Hawks.

With the new year, comes new goals and priorities.  We checked out a new church with Griffin and are trying to decide if it the right place for us.

So far, this month has been AWESOME...sleeping more, laughing a ton and just loving our new life with G!

TWO MONTHS OLD!

Griffin is TWO MONTHS OLD and celebrated in style on NEW YEAR'S EVE his 2 month birthday.

Rich and I are starting to really figure this thing out (haha)...and learning how being a team during the night really makes the days better.   Griffin continues to be patient with us as NEW parents and is helping us learn that success is making it through the day in one piece!

At his TWO MONTH CHECK-UP, his stats were:

Length: 23.5 inches (85%)

Weight: 11.24 lbs (57%)
Head: 15.67 inches (60%)

 A few things that Griffin is now doing in MONTH TWO:

• Smiling when Mom and Dad walk in the room
• Moved from Newborn diapers to Size 1
• Grabbing his Wubbanub by himself 
• Rolled over from belly to back
• Found his tongue and love to stick it out
• Laughed out loud  
• Moving and shaking and LOVING tummy time

HELLO 2013!!!

For the past 4 years, Rich and I have gathered with friends to RING in the New Year!  This year was no different and we returned back to our roots and headed EAST for the snow...hello Leavenworth!

We arrived on Saturday and hit up the Munchen Haus for a little late night snack!

The weekend was all about relaxing...we enjoyed lots of time with babies, laughs with friends, trips in the snow, delicious meals, hot tubs, games, cocktails and cough syrup!  It was a year to remember!

Christmas - West!

We arrived to the Boness Casa Christmas Eve evening to share in the Christmas Joy with the Jobs extended family...

Griffin was able to meet his 2nd cousin RJ (and wife Krista) plus hang out with his cousin Jillian for their first Christmas together.

Rich and I have a special little tradition on Christmas morning to celebrate at our house with our mini-family.  This year, Griffin got to join his big brother Chukar, Mom and Dad for some fun!

Later on Christmas Day, we headed back to the Boness casa for some mimosas and Christmas Vacation....plus, stockings and more fun for Griffin!

On Saturday, December 22nd...Griffin joined us for his FIRST road trip over the mountains to celebrate Christmas with the Meyer Clan.
