Au-GUST-O of FUN!!!

 

 

 When the pictures upload newest to oldest you relive August from the end to the beginning...and through it, realize that this summer was jam packed with all the things! We spent 26% (thanks Griffin) of our summer vacation at the lake...from the minute the kids were out of school until the second they went back.  Can't believe next year we can even plan more...wow, so thankful for the cabin at the lake and how we will use for years to come.  Praying over the many visitors we can share our happy place with!

Back to school means haircuts for all...and on this trip, I introduced the kids to Cinnabon.  :/ I've created cinnamon roll monsters and I love it.

Summer 2022 was the summer of the POOL...and in late August we found a 2nd pool that grammy and papa got to enjoy with the kids too!  Love the little fish they are becoming!

The FIRST sleepover was for G's friend's 10th birthday...the boys had a blast and slept the entire next day!

 

Cheer came in FULL force in August with camp and practices and even a jamboree...so cute to see the smiles this year!!! No masks for the win (can't believe I even have to say that)!

And, of course, Lunch at school!

When Rich gets to head out for 24 hours to fish...the kids and I eat out for all, ok SOME, of the meals!

Back to school surprises to bless the teachers who pour into our kids day in and day out!!!

Look at that...we WALKED so much this summer.  Just under our 150 mile goal, but we hit 135 miles this summer and found such fun in these moments!

Picking up Sis from cheer...this one shines in her Bothell Blue and it's so fun to see something she LOVES!

What happens at the lake...stays at the lake.  These kids and the sleeping car pictures remind me how we stay sane on the 4 hour and 15 minute drive to the lake.

Next time we are ALL back on the property, there will be a CABIN right here!!! How flipping AMAZING! Well, maybe.  Looks like with delays, we might sneak away before the final cabin is there.

The LOVE (absolute infatuation) with swimming started this summer and my heart loves every second of it.  Home is in the water...always has been, always will be!

As of the today, September 15th, we still haven't had the heart to open this.  It's been almost 2 months and it still hurts so bad. Miss you Chukar!

Cheer Camp 2.0.  Year 2 of this has been so fun and I love seeing Millie grow in confidence and spirit!

And then it was the 2nd Annual (after 2 year hiatus) Meyer Summer BBQ...and such a special night of fun, friends, food and fellowship!

That's a wrap SUMMER 2022.  We are already deep into the school year, but this summer is by far my FAVORITE ever.  I think it just had a great mix of all the things with a HUGE dose of family fun!  Heading into fall with full cups and spirits to get through the BIG push of school, sports, events and the "busiest" time of the year!
