We call it a remodel....but I've learned that it really is building a house. These pictures from July really make me see how far we have come...and how far we have to go.
Of the original house, we have 2.5 walls that are not torn down to the studs...but you will have to wait for the August and September updates to see those!
The kitchen was NOT, I repeat, was NOT part of the original plan, but how can you change 95% of the house and leave the kitchen as it is....
Some days I think that Rich just wanted to tear down the cabinets...but hey, new cabinets and appliances, I'm in.

So much dirt and dust...I laugh when I think that we thought we could live in our home during this.

And then there were NO dormers....it's crazy because the character of the house was gone at this point...and NEW things were on the horizon.
