The final stretch of school and start to summer!!!

Memorial Day to Mexico...the end of the school year came and went and we are deep into summer 2026!  May seems to hold so many events and with Memorial Day a little early this year...we snuck out of school early and headed the the cabin.

Love a trip where we can get there and the sun is still out and the fun is just waiting for us....

but first, a car nap for all the kids.

Ford loves the final stretch of the trip and even checked in on his birdie friends when he arrived.

Bikes. Ice Cream.  Sunshine.

It doesn't get much better especially when we were all on empty as the end of school was approaching.

A quick weekend away and back home for the final stretch.

Birthday celebrations for KK!

Pre-Mexico girls day...Millie was on a team that was at the same site as me so we did a little Sunday Funday Site 2 girls bonding with crafts and more.

I love a fun Friday at school where I can help, serve and sneak a few selfies with the kiddos.

The day was done and the girls and I snuck out for a GIRLS ONLY weekend at the cabin...a 1st annual type of weekend.

Reunited with the boys and ready for the last few days of school!

End of Track Banquet...kids earned awards for 3 sports and also grades.  Well done turkeys!

That's a wrap 2025-26 school year!

And a Happy moving on to Mrs. Shilley - all the kids had her for 1st grade.  A special lady for all of us.

Summer really started with another trip to the lake...one where no one had to be back on Monday!
