Someone recently told me....I hope you can live with your decisions. I let that sink in and marinate. Prayed over it and decided that it's probably a question we all have been asked at some point...and maybe even something we wonder about from time to time.
Looking back at this spring, I can say without a doubt, YES! Every road has led me to today and I am grateful for the opportunity for new mercies each day.
In early 2020, Rich and I focused on the word "CONTENT" and it has fully come around with "REST". When I put my trust in the Lord, where He has me and the crazy path to get me to today, I can say I am able to REST in the moments and not be spun out over decisions or regrets. Being truly content in who I am and open to sharing with others has been what this season...this year and truly what every moment has brought me to.
I have decided to put my trust completely in God and the path He has for me. I have decided to put my marriage first and prioritize time with Rich. I have decided to help my kids feel safe, secure and able to come to me with all the BIG and SMALL things. To walk with them when they are unsure and to point them to the one who will never leave them.
For I know, I am granted this small window of time to be an influence into their character, but He will be with them when those doubts creep in to make them question who they are.
So yes, I can live with my decisions and I choose to live in a way that shows the bumps but also focuses on the growth along the way.
So that was my long way of saying...here's April and while the pictures are the highlights, there is a lot of moments with teen, preteen and little feelings happening around these parts...but here's the highlights reel.
Dreams come true for G when Bobby Whit Jr. came to Seattle and we got to have a fun day at the ball park as a family.
