Oh August, you went by in a blink. It's a bitter sweet chapter of summer...where you are still trying to soak up all the fun, but you are also getting back in the swing of things and looking forward to all things fall. I love looking back at these slower days while in the middle of the storm that is September...but with all things, this to shall pass and we will remember the good and grow from the not so good.
Worship AGAIN...you better believe it. And I'm totally a groupie mom...and not afraid to admit it. Seeing him grow and gain confident on stage is something that I just LOVE.
A little flashback of BOYS week in the past to lead up to Boys Week 2026!
With Worship on Sunday, the boys hit the road on Monday. And this year, the 4-legged boy got to join them.
For the girls...it was a week home and starting up CHEER 2026...Day 1 of camp.
It was a TOASTY day filled with all the learning.
Girls week isn't as exotic...but we had some fun too!
Lunch and a movie with Cousins.
Eating out again...we got sick of the meals out, but we were too busy to cook at home.
At the end of the week...we took the show on the road with friends to meet up with the boys at the cabin.
Day 1 and we saw a BEAR...

Seeing the fun these kids had makes me want to bring friends with us always...well, maybe not always, but sharing our special space is so fun.

And then the hitch broke...but what a beautiful evening and we did get the boat out...eventually!
