November...the month of gratefulness and the first time since school started in September that we had some opportunities to rest and recharge at the cabin.
Back in July, Griffin came home from his mission trip in Mexico with a new love for his guitar (it had been challenging and he was ready to quit), but he decided that he wanted to go all in and audition for the Worship team at church.
Insert applying in October and auditioning in November!
Good news, his nerves settled and he was offered a spot on the team. He will start in early 2026 and is excited to see where this goes. We can't thank his guitar teacher enough for the hours she has poured into him.
Friends and Puppy Friends
Wednesday nights have been fun...I've been helping out in the middle school group at church and it's been a blast to see these animals in their natural habitat.
And then basketball began....
Saturday night fun....trip to the outdoor store, a random restaurant and then helping out with Cloud.
Cheer was done and we got to get all dressed up and celebrate another successful year. Followed by our secret trip to sushi. :)
New to us brunch spot...YUM!
And a late night visit to the ball fields to see Millie's friend play (and a snuggle with Ember).
Cousin Fun Friday...Griffin's basketball game and then dinner and a movie!
Fall Awards Banquet...both kiddos got recognized for their grades and a special award for each of them.
And then it was time for a LONG weekend away!

It might have only been early November, but Leighton talked me into the Christmas tree (and I'm so glad she did).

We might have had some complaints about the walking and the hiking and the cold and losing the dog and.....BUT, we got out and had some fun. And everyone came back in one piece.
See, even Mom was there...next time we will remember to eat lunch before the 5 mile hike.

I'm guessing more happened...but the timing is off, so then it was time to head back to the cabin for Thanksgiving. That, or just not a ton of eventful things happening.

It's bird season...so we hit the fields again.
This time with the new clay pigeon thrower and we found out we have a RINGER when it comes to shooting.
On our way back we spotted a cute store in Harrington and found the big guy in the book.

And then it was time to head back home for the whirlwind that was December! Thankful for these master road warriors!
