And just like that...the 12 weeks of summer fun was done and we were back to reality. Fall is kind of like ripping off a band aid...whether you want to do it or not, you know you better just do it. And the sooner you accept it, the sooner you "fall" into the routine.
This September brought many things...the bigs are both in Middle School (6 and 7) and the little is in first! We had weeknights filled with volleyball, cheer, soccer, guitar, piano and church. Weekends flew by with more cheer, church and the Meyer family taking over a kindergarten class on Sundays. It's been a whirlwind of organized chaos, but we managed to stay smiling (most of it). Oh, did I mention Rich headed out to Montano for a 9 day adventure too! Yeah, it's been the wild wild west over here, but we wouldn't change a minute of it!
Obligatory 1st Day Pictures!
Extra hangs with mama...back to school is hard work and this one wanted to be with mama all she could this September (and I don't mind at all)!
First week back to school vibes...
One last swim before we call SUMMER done.

Leighton's 2nd year cheering.
Couch snuggles are a must each morning....and it's not always smiles for all.

Fall Away is a day the HCA Middle School gets to go bond, worship and more...and this year, I got to come along for the fun. It's so fun to be part of their world and see the amazing way each are growing up and with God!
After lunch arm wrestling.
Love seeing them come together to worship led by high schoolers.
