It felt like SUMMER came to an abrupt STOP and the BLUR of school began! It's not our first year heading back to the routine, but the new routine with 3 kiddos in FULL day school was a first!
Leighton started Kindergarten this year and is now in ALL DAY SCHOOL!
Griffin started 6th grade, which is officially MIDDLE SCHOOL, but thankfully is still at our fav little place on the hill.
Millie started 5th grade and is in her final year of ELEMENTARY!
Just don't blink MOM...it goes by in a blur, but thankfully I'm wrapped up in that tornado of chaos with these kiddos!
Best thing for this mama is starting the year off with all school worship and prayer!
We capitalized on the nice September weather and the final weekend the pool was open for the season and spent Friday night swimming with friends!

And then it was time for the first weekend filled with CHEER!!! Bring on the coffee!
Millie's squad was up first!
Next up was Leighton's first game!
Done with games and celebrating with GUACOMOLE...because we are a little extra.
Why not add on family pictures to the first weekend of school...sounds relaxing!
We had an amazing experience with a wonderful "new to us" photographer. Can't wait to share her pictures, but you might have to wait for the Christmas card!

Sunny September means getting the yard ready for winter...
I had the pleasure of attending a Baptism class with Millie...she's not quite ready to do it at church, but so excited to see her grow in faith and love.
Mom and G time! As he gets older, I cherish this...his schedule is getting filled with things more than mom!
That's my take away...the time will pass, but I will continue to put God, my husband and kiddos first! Thankful for my blessings and praying that my heart is humble and can shine HIS light!
